About

The project also includes a basic search system with an autocomplete REST API, a Nominatim-compatible API, and a JavaScript autocomplete component. It can be used as a hosted API or installed on-premises by following the documentation.

Free Tier Value
This free tier has real utility but only as a capped public API: it allows autocomplete queries with 20 results per request and country filtering, so it is more than a demo but still limited. With no paid plan or pricing page shown, a conservative buyer-equivalent estimate is about $2/month for the practical value of a small, always-available free endpoint; there is no indication that a credit card is required, and the offer appears perpetual but usage-capped.
What's included in the free tier
- Returns 20 autocomplete results per query.
- Supports country-specific autocomplete searches using a lowercase ISO 3166 Alpha-2 country code.
See OSMNames pricing for current limits.
