Temporal is a durable execution platform for running application workflows that preserve state across failures. Developers define business logic as workflows and activities using Temporal SDKs, while the Temporal Service persists workflow history, retries failed activities, and resumes execution from the last known state.
The platform is available as Temporal Cloud or as a self-hosted open-source service.
